The Advanced Interaction Technology (AdViT) Research Group is a dynamic and interdisciplinary research unit under the Centre for Advanced Computing Technologies (C-ACT) , located within the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FTMK) at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).
At AdViT, we are passionate about shaping the future of human-computer interaction (HCI) through cutting-edge research, innovation, and community-driven initiatives. Our focus spans a wide range of advanced interaction domains including augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), intelligent user interfaces, wearable and assistive technologies, and ubiquitous computing.
AdViT serves as a platform for students, researchers, and collaborators to explore how emerging technologies can enhance the way we interact with the world—making it more intelligent, inclusive, and human-friendly.

Niche Area
1. Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) for People with Special Needs
Designing and developing user interfaces and interaction techniques tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities or special needs.
2. User Experience Design
Studying and improving the user experience for multiple applications such as e-commerce and game design to enhance user satisfaction and increase engagement.
